Gallery Raymond is Kingston's largest commercial art gallery. Five years ago, owner Raymond Vos decided to take his picture framing business, Creative Framing, in a new direction and began to display only original art. The response was overwhelmingly positive. Two years later, he built an extension to double his gallery space and showcase more local art. Today, the gallery represents fourteen talented area artists working in original oils, watercolours, and acrylics. The work is diverse, including landscapes, florals, cityscapes, and abstracts. Every couple of months, the gallery has a wine and cheese opening of a single artist show at which the artist is present. Custom picture framing available.
